1. The ratio of the ages of Kamlesh and Suresh is 3 : 5. After 9 years the ratio of their ages will be 3 : 4. Find the present age of both.
   कमलेश और सुरेश की आयु का अनुपात 3 : 5 है। 9 वर्ष बाद उसकी आयु का अनुपात 3 : 4 हो जाएगा। दोनों की वर्तमान उम्र ज्ञात करें।


2. The ratio of two numbers is 7 : 9, if 30 is subtracted from each, the ratio becomes 5 : 7, then what are the numbers?
   दो संख्याओं का अनुपात 7 : 9 है, यदि प्रत्येक में से 30 घटाया जाए, तो अनुपात 5 : 7 हो, जाता है, तो संख्याएँ क्या हैं?


3. The ratio of two numbers is 3 : 4. If 10 is added to each, their ratio becomes 4 : 5. Find the numbers.
   दो संख्याओं का अनुपात 3 : 4 है। यदि प्रत्येक में 10 जोड़ दिया जाये तो उनका अनुपात 4 : 5 हो जाता है। संख्याएं ज्ञात करें।


4. If 36 men can finish a piece of work in 25 days, how many days will 15 men take to do it?
   यदि 36 आदमी किसी काम को 25 दिन में पूरा कर सकते हैं, तो 15 आदमी उसी काम को कितने दिन में पूरा करेंगे?


5. A garrison of 500 men had provisions for 24 days. However, a reinforcement of 300 men arrived. For how many days will the food last now?
   500 लोगों की एक टुकड़ी के पास 24 दिनों का भोजन था। लेकिन, 300 लोगों की अतिरिक्त टुकड़ी आ गई। अब भोजन कितने दिनों तक चलेगा?


6. If 40 workers can finish a job in 15 days, how many workers should be employed if the job is to be finished in 8 days?
   यदि 40 श्रमिक किसी कार्य को 15 दिन में पूरा कर सकते हैं, तो उस कार्य को 8 दिन में पूरा करने के लिए कितने श्रमिकों को नियोजित किया जाना चाहिए?


7. 48 men can dig a trench in 14 days. How long will 28 men take to dig a similar trench?
   48 आदमी एक गड्ढा 14 दिन में खोद सकते हैं। 28 आदमी उसी गड्ढे को खोदने में कितना समय लेंगे?


8. Forty-five cows can graze a field in 13 days. How many cows will graze the same field in 9 days?
   45 गायें एक खेत को 13 दिन में चर सकती हैं। कितनी गायें उसी खेत को 9 दिन में चरेंगी?


9. At the beginning of a month, a factory has enough materials to make 240 tonnes of steel in a month. If 60 more tonnes of steel is to be made that month, how long will the materials last?
   एक महीने की शुरुआत में, एक कारखाने में एक महीने में 240 टन स्टील बनाने के लिए पर्याप्त सामग्री है। यदि उस महीने 60 टन स्टील और बनाया जाना है, तो सामग्री कितने समय तक चलेगी?
